MISSION, TEXAS (SEPTEMBER 1, 2025) – The community came together under the lights at Tom Landry Hall of Fame Stadium for this year’s Battle of Conway, a long-standing tradition that celebrates school pride, athleticism, and friendly competition between Mission CISD’s two high schools.
The Veterans Memorial High School Patriots and the Mission High School Eagles went head-to-head in an exciting game that highlighted the energy and determination of both teams.
Fans from across the district filled the stands, cheering on their schools and showcasing the spirit that makes the Battle of Conway a special event each year.
At the end of the night, the Patriots secured the win with a final score of 28–0. Congratulations go out to the Patriots for their victory, and equal recognition goes to both teams for their hard work, dedication, and the pride they bring to Mission CISD.
