The event will commemorate the unveiling of the Coach Iris G. Iglesias Softball Complex Plaque, recognizing her years of service, commitment to excellence, and profound influence on students and athletics throughout the district.

For nearly 40 years, Coach Iris G. Iglesias has been a pillar of Mission CISD athletics, inspiring generations of student-athletes through hard work, discipline, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
From helping introduce softball to Mission High School in 1995 to earning more than 500 career victories, five district championships, and countless lifelong relationships, her impact extends far beyond the scoreboard.
