MISSION, Texas – Mission CISD recognized the dedication, commitment, and years of service of its Central Office staff during the 2026 Service Awards & End of Year Fiesta, held on June 22, 2026, at The Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce.
The annual celebration honored employees reaching significant service milestones and provided a opportunity to recognize an esteemed retiree whose contributions have left a lasting impact on the district.
Mission CISD Board of Trustees members and Superintendent Dr. Cris King expressed their appreciation to all Central Office employees for their commitment to students, staff, and the Mission CISD community. As the school year came to a close, they also encouraged employees to enjoy a well-deserved summer break.
Reflecting on another successful year, Dr. King shared an inspiring message with attendees.
"We made it another year. Chalk it up to great employees, a great team, a great climate, and a great culture of hard work and dedication," said Dr. King. "We launched Mission Possible, and now we're launching Mission Possible 2.0. We're going to take it to a whole new level. Thank you so much for being such a beautiful and brilliant team! I'm so blessed."
