Mission FFA students advance to area leadership competitions

                The Mission High School FFA has two teams of students who won their respective competitions at the recently held Rio Grande Valley (RGV) District Career and Leadership Development Event. They now advance to the area competition to be held at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. The Greenhand (freshmen) Parliamentary Procedure team and the Senior FFA Quiz Team will represent the RGV in their areas of expertise in Kingsville in late November.

                The Greenhand Parliamentary Procedure Team consists of: Jacob Flores, president; Brianna Saenz, vice president; Amanda Granados, secretary; Andrea Gonzalez, treasurer; Sebastian Guevara, reporter; Justin Cerda, sentinel; Jose Salinas, member; Christopher Venecia, advisor.

                The Senior FFA Quiz Team consists of: Jose Calderon, Rolando Hinojosa, Johanna Jimenez, Alyssa Flores, Sebastian Martinez.

                The Mission FFA was also represented at the district level competition by the Junior FFA Quiz Team and Greehand Creed Speaker. They are: Bailey Lopez, Vianelly Cantu, Moises Fuentes, Leann Gonzalez.
