Two students from Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) have qualified to advance to the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Area tryouts that will be held in January at Alice High School. Andres Vecchio and Benjamin Garcia are advancing based upon their performance at the recent Pre-Area tryouts. Each of them earned first chair in their instrument classifications.
The TMEA Area tryouts are the last step toward making the TMEA All State Band.
