The Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) Patriot Stars spent part of their spring break at the Showtime International competitions held at South Padre Island. The team came back with quite a few honors, including sweepstakes-division 1.
Other awards earned by the Stars includes: the Judges Award in the kick, pom, and novelty categories. The group also earned a first place best in category award for a kick routine; and a second place best in category for a novelty routine.
