Mission CISD announces District Teachers of the Year

Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) has announced the names of its Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year. The announcement was made during a special luncheon today, honoring the Teachers of the Year for each of the district’s schools. The event was timed to fall on National Teacher Appreciation Day, which is also during National Teacher Appreciation Week.

The Mission CISD Elementary Teacher of the Year is Fred Estimbo from Castro Elementary School. Estimbo has been teaching at Castro Elementary School since 2001. He has a total of 25 years with Mission CISD.  Estimbo is currently a fourth grade Reading and Writing teacher at Castro Elementary School.
