VMHS track and field state champ signs with University of Houston

                State 4A shot put champion and Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) track and field standout, Guillermo Galvan, has accepted a scholarship to attend the University of Houston. Galvan signed his letter of intent, accepting the scholarship, this morning. Galvan qualified for the state track and field meet in both the shot put and discus events.
