The Mission High School (MHS) band earned a total of 24 medals at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble contest this past weekend at the University of Texas at Austin. Out of those 24 medals, eight were gold and 16 were silver.
The gold medalists are: Noe Jaramillo, Miguel Reyna, Annautica Perez, Jose Ochoa, Enrique Pina, Carlos Garcia, William Rosa, Joseph Salinas.
The silver medalists are: Christian Gonzales, Armando Montemayor, Guillermo Pena, Jose Saenz, Efren Suarez, Anibal Pena, Joe Guerra III, Jesus Olivares, Leo Salinas, Joey Acosta, Osvaldo Mateo, David Pena, Melissa Salinas, Xavier Alonzo.
