The Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) band earned a total of 21 medals at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble contest this past weekend at the University of Texas at Austin.
Earning a silver medal for their solo performances are: Michael DelaGarza, Caroline Galvez, Benjamin Garcia, Michael Mata, Thalia Mirelez, Ruben Rodriguez, Lorenah Vasquez, Daniel Vallejo, Andres Vecchio.
Earning a gold medal for their ensemble performances are: Matthew Cantu, Tomas Garcia, Michael DelaGarza, Caroline Galvez, Iris Garcia, Juan Trinidad Lara, Monica Leal, Jasmine Reyna, Kellen Shults, Judith Tijerina, Daniel Trevino, Daniel Vallejo.
