The Mission High School (MHS) High Flyers dance and drill team attended the Showmakers of America Dance Camp earlier this summer, at Brenham, Texas. The team brought home quite a few awards including the Division 1 Sweepstakes Award and Special Recognition Ribbons for the home routine and camp dance performances.
All-Star individual honors went to Rosa Gonzalez.
Superlative honors went to: Crystal Hernandez, Rosa Gonzalez, Anahi Barajas, Julie Garcia, Anjelica Garcia, Kimmy Villarreal.
The High Flyers are directed by Josie Flores and Oneida Saenz.
