The new Mission High School eagle statue and Veterans Memorial High School patriot statue are ready to make their trip from the sculpture’s workshop to Tom Landry Stadium. Once the new concrete pillars are in place, they will make the trip to the stadium and get hoisted into place.
The patriot statue will be a new addition to the Tom Landry Stadium.
This eagle statue is old and new. The original eagle statue was used as a mold to create a replacement for the original eagle. The original plan was to refurbish the old statue, but due to its condition, that was not feasible. The original sculptor for the eagle was consulted during the process.
