The Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) Board of Trustees and Superintendent have participated in an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. They are not only making a donation to the ALS charities, but they have also challenged the Mission City Council, Palmhurst City Council, and Alton City Commission. In addition to the city leaders, they have also challenged the Board of Trustees and Superintendents of the following nearby school districts: La Joya ISD, Sharyland ISD, McAllen ISD, and Edinburg CISD.
