Members and officers of the Mission FFA came together on Saturday, September 6 for a special Leadership Camp to kick off their school year. After an opening ceremony, the students separated into three groups that rotated through activities designed to establish qualities important to the FFA organization: leadership, communication, teamwork, public relations.
The Leadership Camp was also attended by Superintendent Ricardo Lopez and several members of the Mission CISD (Consolidated Independent School District) Board of Trustees. Pictured is board member Minnie Rodgers as she was mummified during one of the activities.
The Mission FFA Leadership Camp was sponsored by Texas State Board of Education member, Ruben Cortez, who also attended. Mission FFA is sponsored by Mark Villarrreal, Benito Garza, Clarissa Saenz.
