Students, parents, and staff at Waitz Elementary School are enjoying a new, much larger library space. They used a literacy night event to also hold a symbolic ribbon cutting ceremony for the upgraded library space.
You see, the new library is not exactly new to the campus. It is actually the old cafeteria. A new cafeteria building was opened last school year at Waitz Elementary School. The old cafeteria space was then renovated into a new library for the campus. Until now, Waitz had one of the smallest library spaces among all our elementary schools.
