Health students from Veterans Memorial High School recently spent a day at The University of Texas Health Science Center Expo in San Antonio, Texas. Twenty students were able to make the trip that included a day of hands-on activities, laboratory investigations, meeting with graduate students, and lectures.
The students also had the opportunity to visit with graduate students from the Rio Grande Valley about their experiences.
Topics available to the students included: dentistry, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, surgery, nursing, and others.
