While we like to brag about how our students, staff, programs, etc. are leading the way. Our parents are often doing the same. A recent example was at the Region One Education Service Center’s Annual “For Our Parents, by Our Parents” showcase. Blanca Tijerina a member of the Migrant Department Parent Advisory Council for Mission CISD was one of the presenters. Her topic was on migrant supplemental services parents helping parents ensure student success.
