December 21, 2016- Migrant students recently spent a day studying Animal Science at the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville. It was part of a continuing partnership with College 1st. Participating students came from elementary, junior high, and high school grades. Each was given an assignment and needed to take notes in order to complete their assignments as they visited exhibits in the zoo. Some of the exhibits gave students the chance to get really close, like this one touching a ray.
