Mission, Texas- Several baseball players from Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) high schools have been named to All-Star Teams.
Noel Vela from Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) made two lists. He was named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Team and the Rio Grande Valley West All-Star Team.
Other student-athletes named to the RGV West All-Star Team are: Edgar Garza, Mission High School (MHS); Eddie Galvan, VMHS; Jacob Guerrero, VMHS; Roman de Leon, VMHS; William Pena, VMHS; Cristian Ramos, VMHS.
The state All-Star game will be played on June 17 in Round Rock at the Dell Diamond at 4:00 p.m. The RGV All-Star game will be played on June 17 at La Joy at 6:00 p.m.
