The Mission High School Jazz Band competed at the Texas Music Festival at PSJA Memorial High School on May 4. After an impressive performance, the students were awarded Division 1 ratings from all the judges and took home the 1st place trophy.
“I’m super proud of my jazz kids,” said Assistant Band Director Armando Rodriguez. “They worked hard throughout the year while having fun making music together.”
