Members of the community are invited to bring new children’s books to Chick-fil-A Palmhurst in support of Salinas Elementary School’s Book House. The small house made of reclaimed wood was part of the new location’s grand opening festivities and one way in which the Chick-fil-A foundation supports youth and education. Store Operator Joe Gonzalez presented the Book House to Principal Martina Garcia on May 18. The free mini-library will be placed at Salinas Elementary and students will be encouraged to take one book while leaving another behind.
