Mission Lions Club Donates $1,000 and Free Vision Screenings for Mission CISD’s 4th Annual Back-to-School Bash

Mission Lions Club Treasurer Ron D’Andrea presented a $1,000 donation to Mission CISD’s Director of Public Relations and Marketing Craig Verley to be used toward the district’s annual Back-to-School Bash. The Lions Club also provides free vision screenings at the event each year.

The 4th Annual Back-to-School Bash, to be held Thursday, August 3, from 6-8 p.m. at the Mission Veterans Memorial High School gymnasiums, provides more than 2,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to Mission CISD students. Visitors can also take advantage of free haircuts, low-cost immunizations and sport physicals, free vision screenings, and access to other valuable district and community services.
