Mission, Texas- Mission High School students, Dominick Barrientoz and Noevely Garza received their Police Explorers badge at a Pinning Ceremony on Wednesday evening at Shary Golf Course. The program includes students from Mission, Veterans Memorial, Sharyland and Sharyland Pioneer High Schools.
Students were officially sworn in by Mission Police Chief Robert Dominguez and then received their Police Explorers badge “pinned” from someone of their choice. Dominick Barrientoz was pinned by his mother, Mission Police Officer Bea Barrientoz and Noevely Garza was pinned by her Law Enforcement teacher, Bernie Acosta.
