Mission, Texas- Mission CISD Education Foundation Prize Patrol loaded up in school vehicles and caravanned to present checks to the scholarship/grant recipients before winter break. If the Prize Patrol entered the front doors of a campus that meant someone there was gonna be presented with a check. Recipients were extremely surprised and elated when the Prize Patrol entered with a huge roar of a horn. That surely stirred up lots of excitement with the recipients and their colleagues.
A total of seven scholarship recipients received a check and they are; Clarissa Saenz (MHS Ag. Dept.), Jannell Hernandez (MHS), Sarah Morales (O’Grady Elementary), Erica Kristine Santana (Ralph Cantu Jr. High), Ilissa Rios (MHS Sp. Ed.), Alma Saenz-Alaniz (Transportation Dept.), and Esequiel Gutierrez (Pearson Elementary). These individuals will be using their scholarship monies of $1000 to continue their education.
There were also seven grant recipients that were presented with checks and they are; Fernando Perez (VMHS Ag. Dept.), Alfonso Rodriguez (Leal Elementary), Jose Huerta, Jr. (Marcell Elementary), Sarah E. Wilson (Marcell Sp. Ed.), Michelle Salazar (Cavazos Elementary), Maria G.
