Members of the Veterans Memorial High School (VMHS) Patriot Engineering Team 12449 recently dropped by Mims Elementary School (their neighbors). The engineering students met with fifth graders to share information about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) opportunities. Part of the presentation by the VMHS students included working with the Mims students on a project that demonstrated some of what STEM is about. The campus presentation project was led by Team 12449 captain, Briana Renee Diaz.
