MHS DECA students advance to state competitions

            Mission, Texas- The Mission High School (MHS) DECA Chapter will be sending two dozen of its students to state competition at the Texas DECA Career Development Conference when it is held later this spring. The students advance to state based on their performance at the recent District 1 Career Development Conference.

            The students advancing are:

            Hospitality and tourism operations research: Joselyne De La Cruz, Donica Cuellar, Bianca De La Rosa, Emily Gonzalez, Yarah Garcia, Joana Juarez, Emily Barragan, Javier Sanchez,

            Advertising campaign: Krystal Gonzalez, Sebastian Rodriguez, Maielah Davis.

            Entrepreneurship start-up business: Daniela Ale Lopez, Gilbert Pena.

            Entrepreneurship independent business plan: Makayla Trevino.

            Buying and Merchandising operations research: Jessica Marquez, Daniela Perea, Kaylee Reyes.

            Community service project: Alexis Gonzalez, Juan Valadez.

            Learn and earn: Luciano Sandoval, Itzel Vasquez.

            Sports and entertainment operations research: Rochelle Saenz, Roberto Ramirez.

            Sports and entertainment series individual: Lisa Montes.
