Mission, Texas- A student at Mission High School has earned special honors from the Celebrating Art anthology, a national publication recognizing some of the best artistic talents in the country.
Fernanda Hernandez submitted a piece of work for inclusion in the publication that was not only selected for inclusion in the publication, but also earned her the High Merit Award. She is pictured holding her artwork called, La Doña.
Celebrating Art is a competition in which 25% of the entries are invited to be published in an anthology. They also select certain artworks to qualify for the Top ten award and High Merit.
