Mission, Texas- The Mission High School (MHS) Encore Theatre One Act Play Team is advancing out of the Bi-District competitions to the Area Finals. These will be held on Saturday, March 31, at Zapata High School. The troupe is performing The 39 Steps, by Patrick Barlow and John Buchan.
In addition to advancing to the Area Finals, several of the MHS Encore Theatre cast and crew earned special recognitions at the Bi-District competition. They include: Abigail Rodriguez, Tech Award; Mason Smith-Loftus, All-Star Cast; Sebastian Trejo, Honorable Mention All-Star Cast; Xavian Flores, Honorable Mention All-Star Cast; Alondra Gonzalez, Best Actress.
The MHS Encore Theatre One Act Play Team is scheduled to perform at the Area competitions at 12:30 p.m. on March 31, at Zapata High School.
