MHS Students Volunteer at Mission’s Annual Trash Bash

Mission High School Criminal Justice students volunteered their weekend to a great cause, City of Mission’s Annual Trash Bash, on Saturday, April 21st.  Our students collected 25 bags of trash and litter, and also did some planting. In celebration of Earth Day the students planted 23 trees and other plants around City Hall. Deborah Cordova, head of the City of Mission Trash Bash, commended the students for their efforts. The is an annual event in which the collaborates with the Mission Boys and Girls Club to organize this event. The Volunteer Appreciation Picnic was held at Lions Park at noon to wrap up the Mission Annual Trash Bash.
