MHS Wind Symphony and the MHS Jazz Ensemble traveled to TAMU-Corpus Christi to compete at the Director’s Choice Music Festival on Saturday, May 19, 2018. The Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Mr. Armando Rodriguez, earned straight superior ratings and Best in Class 6A Jazz Ensemble. The Wind Symphony, under the direction of Mr. Sam Hjort, earned straight superior ratings as well as Best in Class 6A band and Overall Outstanding Band of the day.
