Dr. Ted E. Bear, the FUN-ology Specialist, from the Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance Health System entertained the students in 3rd through 5th grade for the STAAR Pep-Rally at Capt. Joaquin Castro Elementary. He gave the students health tips, such as eating healthy, getting plenty exercise and rest in preparation for the STAAR Reading, Math, and Science Test.
Mrs. Myra Garza, School Principal and Mrs. Paola Rubio, School Counselor coordinated the presentation to remind students and staff the importance of staying healthy and being prepared for the STAAR Tests. The interactive presentation that put a smile on everyone’s face!
