Mission CISD welcomes back the leadership team

Mission CISD started their Leadership Academy on Monday, July 30, 2018 to welcome back campus and central office administrators to the new 2018-19 school year. This is the first formal event of the year in which Dr. Carol G. Perez addressed the leadership team.

“The mission for Mission CISD is to prepare students for the 21st century and that begins with the four C’s; communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity,” stated Dr. Carol G. Perez, MCISD superintendent.  “It is child centered instruction and above all how we treat each other we use what we call the five R’s; rigor, relevance, relationships, results, and reflection. It’s a cycle and a total team effort.”

Her vision for the district is about teamwork and overcoming obstacles together in order to be

successful. She states that together we can fulfill the mission of Mission CISD.

Administrators will be spending much of this week receiving training for items to be implemented this year, as well as refreshers on key operational items.
