As a warm up to the big UIL Pigskin Jubilee Marching contest in October, the Mission High School Band participated in the Bands of America South Texas Regional Championship this past Saturday. The event was held in McAllen. The Eagle Band made a little school history by bringing home the award for Outstanding Visual Performance for their classification. Overall, the band placed sixth in their classification.
