Welcome to Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Career and Technical Education (CTE) at Mission CISD prepares students for success in postsecondary education, the workforce, and military service. Our programs provide rigorous and relevant learning experiences aligned with high-skill, high-wage, and in-demand careers that reflect the needs of our local and regional economy.

Mission CISD offers a comprehensive range of Programs of Study designed to equip students with the academic, technical, and employability skills needed for lifelong success. With 22 Programs of Study across 13 Career Clusters, students have the opportunity to explore their interests while progressing through aligned pathways that lead to meaningful postsecondary and career opportunities.

Through strong partnerships with postsecondary institutions and industry, students have access to dual credit opportunities that allow them to earn college credit while still in high school. Additionally, participation in Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) provides students with valuable leadership experiences that prepare them for success beyond graduation.

At Mission CISD, we are committed to ensuring all students graduate with a clear pathway, industry-aligned skills, and the confidence to succeed in a competitive and evolving workforce—because we believe every student deserves a future filled with opportunity.
