Language Arts
The language arts department will clearly align instruction for PK-12th in order to ensure that students master all concepts and skills at a high level of cognitive rigor, resulting in MCISD students dominating in the classroom and real world.
Our Purpose
The Language Arts Department serves as administrative support and a resource for all the reading, writing, and English teachers in MCISD. Our main goal is to provide teachers with the information and staff development necessary to empower them to guide their students in reaching their potential as lifelong readers and writers.
